Fatal crash in Shawano County; 2 others in recovery
A tragic incident occurred in the Town of Seneca last night, resulting in the loss of a young boy from the Seymour area, with two others injured. The Shawano County Sheriff's Office reported that the crash occurred at the intersection of County Highway D and County Highway J around 6 p.m. Officials responded to find an unresponsive male juvenile passenger, who unfortunately passed away despite resuscitation efforts. The driver and another juvenile passenger, both from Seymour, were hospitalized for evaluation. Speed is suspected to have played a role in the accident, and authorities are considering legal repercussions, though no decisions have been announced yet.
