Fatal Crash in Rockland County due to Suspected DWI
A tragic incident occurred in Spring Valley, Rockland County, resulting in the death of a 4-year-old girl who was struck by a suspected drunk driver. The driver also hit and injured two other children and an adult at around 9:30 p.m. on Old Nyack Turnpike. The victims were walking on a sidewalk after leaving a park. The 4-year-old girl, Goldy Eisenbach, daughter of Spring Valley Village Trustee Yisroel Eisenbach, passed away from her injuries. The driver, Axel Lopez-Santiago, has been arrested and is facing charges including DWI and aggravated vehicular homicide.
