Fatal crash in Pottawattamie County claims two lives, including a child
Two individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident on Interstate 880 in Pottawattamie County on Sunday evening. Iowa State Patrol identified the victims as a 27-year-old named Til Baswa and a 2-year-old child. The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. when a car struck a deer and came to a stop in the middle of the highway. The driver of the stopped vehicle, a 41-year-old, was unharmed. Baswa and the child exited the car, and as another car attempted to avoid the parked vehicle, they were struck and fatally injured. The authorities are currently investigating the crash.
