Fatal crash in Pompey, N.Y.: One dead, four hospitalized
POMPEY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)— New York State Police are investigating a deadly motor vehicle collision that happened on Saturday, April 25, 2025, at approximately 3:29 p.m. in the town of Pompey. The two-car motor vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Sweet Road and Broadfield Road. Four people were transported to Upstate Hospital by ambulance after the crash, where one victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. One other victim remains in critical condition, while the remaining two victims sustained no life-threatening injuries. The New York State Police and the Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
