Fatal crash in Omaha leaves two dead, one critically injured
Emergency crews are currently responding to a tragic collision involving two vehicles in Omaha that took place on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred close to Interstate 680 around 12:45 p.m. According to reports, two individuals lost their lives in the crash, with several others sustaining injuries. The Omaha police have shared that a truck was headed westbound on Pacific Street, while an SUV was traveling eastbound on the same road and was in the process of turning northbound onto I-680. As a result of the collision, a section of Pacific Street spanning from 108th to 114th streets has been partially closed off. Various access points to I-680 are also blocked, as informed by the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Motorists are advised to exercise caution, slow down, and try to avoid the affected area. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the accident.
