Fatal crash in northwest Ohio.
Authorities in Paulding County, Ohio are currently investigating a tragic collision between two vehicles that resulted in a fatality. The incident took place on County Road 123 in Jackson Township at around 1:14 p.m. The preliminary findings suggest that James A. Hasch, a 50-year-old resident of Paulding County, was driving south on CR 123 when he attempted to overtake another southbound vehicle. During the passing maneuver, Hasch collided with an oncoming car, leading his vehicle to crash into a pole, overturn, and eject him. Sadly, Hasch lost his life in the accident, while the other driver emerged unscathed. The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Van Wert post is looking into the details surrounding the crash.
