Fatal crash in North Branford claims life of Northford resident
An 85-year-old man passed away and another individual was hurt in a collision that occurred on Friday morning in North Branford, Connecticut, authorities reported. The incident took place at approximately 10 a.m. on Foxon Road. The deceased, identified as Roger Munck from Northford, sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries. The other driver involved was hospitalized with minor injuries. The South Central Regional Accident Investigation Unit is leading the inquiry into the crash. Foxon Road was shut down between Twin Lakes Road and Cedar Lake Road for around four hours.
