Fatal crash in New Orleans after dirt bike rider allegedly flees law enforcement
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A person is dead after a dirt bike crashed into another vehicle while allegedly evading law enforcement in New Orleans Monday, April 6. According to the Louisiana State Police, the crash occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Canal Boulevard and City Park Avenue. The New Orleans Police Department and LSP were attempting to initiate a traffic stop with a person riding a dirt bike, when the driver allegedly fled and struck another vehicle. The dirt bike rider was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
