Fatal crash in New Jersey injures two, kills Norwich woman
A tragic accident occurred on Interstate 80 in Totowa Borough, Passaic County, where a woman from Norwich lost her life in a head-on collision, as reported by the New Jersey State Police. The incident took place around 2 a.m. and involved a Honda sedan traveling eastbound and a Buick SUV with three passengers from Norwich heading westbound on the highway. Unfortunately, the driver of the Honda, 30-year-old Albin Fermin, and a 24-year-old passenger named Imani Furman from the Buick did not survive the collision. The driver of the Buick, a 60-year-old woman, suffered grave injuries, while a 2-year-old child in the Buick sustained moderate injuries. Both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment as the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
