Fatal crash in Milwaukee following police pursuit, driver sought
One individual lost their life, and another is being sought by authorities following a police pursuit that culminated in a collision in Milwaukee on Saturday, Aug. 23. The Milwaukee Police Department reported that officers spotted a vehicle near 60th and Meinecke that was linked to a recent shooting around 7:40 p.m. Despite officers' attempts to stop the vehicle, the driver refused and a chase ensued. The pursuit concluded when the fleeing vehicle collided with another vehicle on West Center Street, resulting in the death of the driver of the second vehicle. The driver of the fleeing vehicle fled the scene and remains at large. Police are actively searching for the suspect.
