Fatal crash in Meeker County leaves one dead, one injured
A tragic incident occurred in central Minnesota on Sunday morning where a 19-year-old lost their life and another was injured in a car crash. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office received a report of the crash at the junction of Meeker County Road 6 and 746th Avenue at around 3 a.m. Reports from the sheriff's office state that the young driver of the car, a resident of Cokato, lost control on County Road 6 and collided with a telephone pole on the passenger side of the vehicle. The driver was airlifted in critical condition while the young passenger, identified as Nolan Henke of Dassel, passed away at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
