Fatal crash in Medina County involving F-250 truck and trailer causes Painesville woman's death.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently looking into a tragic collision that occurred in Westfield Township on Sunday morning. The incident involved a speeding car colliding with a pickup truck towing a trailer, which then flipped over and went off a bridge overpass. The collision took place on Interstate 71 around 11:42 a.m. The crash resulted in the death of a passenger in the truck, with the driver being hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the speeding car was unharmed. A third vehicle was also damaged due to debris from the crash. Charges have not been determined yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
