Fatal crash in McHenry, IL: 2 teens dead, 1 injured
Unfortunately, a tragic incident occurred in McHenry, Illinois resulting in the loss of two teenagers' lives and serious injuries to another individual. The accident took place when a southbound Audi collided with a black Nissan at the intersection of Richmond and McCullom Lake roads early in the morning. Additionally, both vehicles struck a parked Toyota Echo nearby. Following the crash, emergency responders transported the 18-year-old Audi driver to Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital with severe injuries, while the two occupants of the Nissan, a 19-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, tragically passed away at the scene as confirmed by the McHenry County Coroner's Office. The intersection has since been reopened, and McHenry police are actively investigating the details surrounding the accident.
