Fatal crash in Madison County involving Pearl couple and log truck
A fatal collision involving a log truck in Madison County has resulted in the death of one individual. The accident occurred on Monday evening on Highway 16, where a pickup truck carrying Jimmie Keathen, 73, and his wife Gloria Keathen, 66, both from Pearl, was struck by a log truck attempting to turn onto the highway. Tragically, Jimmie Keathen passed away at the scene, while Gloria Keathen was airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for treatment. Fortunately, the log truck driver emerged unscathed. The incident is currently being investigated by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
