Fatal crash in Kansas City leads to reopening of Interstate 70
Authorities are looking into a fatal incident that led to the closure of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 at U.S. 40 on Thursday morning. The police reported that a vehicle hit a pedestrian in the second eastbound lane around 4:30 a.m., resulting in the pedestrian's death. Luckily, the driver sustained no injuries. The investigation caused the closure of all eastbound lanes, but the interstate resumed operations just before 7:00 a.m.
