Fatal crash in Johnson County, Missouri involves 1 teen death and 4 injuries
A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday night in Johnson County, Missouri, where a 17-year-old boy lost his life and four other teenagers sustained injuries. The crash occurred around 8:15 p.m. on a road near Warrensburg. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 17-year-old girl was driving an SUV when it veered off the road, hitting a ditch. The boy who tragically passed away was airlifted to Kansas City but succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The driver and the other passengers, aged 13, 16, and 18, were taken to a medical center in Warrensburg for treatment of minor to moderate injuries. The teens were from Knob Noster. Authorities are currently investigating the crash, with assistance from various emergency response teams.
