Fatal crash in Isanti County claims lives of 2 men
A tragic incident occurred in Athens Township resulting in the loss of two lives on Monday afternoon. The Isanti County Sheriff's Office reported that a fatal two-vehicle collision took place around 2 p.m. at 269th Avenue Northeast near Tucker Trail Northeast. Sadly, one driver was found deceased at the scene while life-saving efforts could not save the other driver, who also passed away. Both individuals were the sole occupants of their vehicles. The cause of the crash remains unknown and is currently being investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol.
