Fatal crash in Iroquois County injures three

A fatal two-car collision occurred in Iroquois County, Illinois on Sunday, resulting in one fatality and three individuals being hospitalized. The incident took place on U.S. 24 at 200 E near Gilman around 6 p.m. involving a Kia and a Chevrolet. The Kia driver was pronounced deceased by the county coroner, while the Kia's passenger and the occupants of the Chevrolet were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The road was temporarily closed post the crash, reopening at 12:15 a.m. on Monday. Illinois State Police reported that no additional details are available at this time.
