Fatal crash in Houston as vehicle strikes tree and catches fire
Two individuals lost their lives when the car they were in crashed and burst into flames near the Alief-area early Friday morning. Sergeant Griffiths of the Houston Police Department reported that a black Honda Accord was speeding northbound on Wilcrest Drive before veering off the road, hitting a tree, and coming to a stop in the southbound lanes. Despite a white Honda Accord colliding with the first vehicle, its occupants were unharmed. The Houston Fire Department extinguished the flames, but sadly, the two occupants in the initial vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. As of now, the victims' identities remain unknown.
