Fatal Crash in Hopkins County Involving Arkansas Woman and Semi-Truck
A tragic incident occurred in Hopkins County near Dawson Springs, involving a fatal crash between a semi-truck and a sedan. The collision took place on Interstate I-69 northbound, near the 92-mile marker, on the night of Sept. 24. The Arkansas woman driving the sedan, identified as Julia Jones, 64, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. The semi-truck driver, Jose Tovar-Silva, was unharmed. The investigation into the crash is ongoing under the direction of Detective Jacob Stephens of the Kentucky State Police.
