Fatal crash in Henrico claims 27-year-old driver's life

A 27-year-old driver tragically passed away in Henrico County, Virginia after her car overturned during a collision early Sunday morning. The incident occurred on Interstate 64 westbound near mile marker 196. Virginia State Police reported that a Mercedes-Benz was struck by a Chevrolet Equinox, causing the Mercedes to flip over onto its roof in the middle lane. The driver of the Mercedes, identified as 27-year-old Tameecha F. Chambliss, lost her life at the scene. Another individual in the car, 27-year-old Alexandria Telisha Gamble, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized. The driver of the Chevrolet, 46-year-old Miguel Andres Munive Rangel, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and traffic in the westbound lanes will continue to be impacted as authorities work at the scene.
