Fatal crash in Granville claims life of Queensbury woman
Authorities in Granville, New York are currently looking into a tragic single-car accident that occurred on July 16th. The incident happened shortly before 8 a.m. on State Route 149. State Troopers discovered a severely damaged gray Toyota SUV at the side of the road when they arrived at the scene. Despite an extensive search, it was only around 12:19 p.m. that responders found the deceased driver, identified as Hope Gonzalez, a 42-year-old resident of Queensbury, about 80 feet from the crash site. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Granville Fire Department, and EMS, along with State Police, all assisted in the emergency response. The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
