Fatal crash in Geneva claims life of Farmington woman
The Ontario County Sheriff's Office reported that a woman from Farmington, aged 36, passed away following a collision in Geneva on County Road 4 late Sunday night. Deputies discovered Alyssa Coleman deceased at the scene, and their investigation indicates that Coleman, who was headed east, swerved to the south side of the road, causing her car to hit a tree. Authorities believe that excessive speed and alcohol may have played a role in the accident. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team and Criminal Investigation Division looked into the incident, which led to a closure of County Road 4 for around 3.5 hours. The case is being further investigated.
