Fatal crash in Fishtown neighborhood leaves Uber driver dead and passenger injured
A tragic car crash occurred in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood on Saturday night, resulting in the death of an Uber driver. The driver was transporting four passengers from a nearby concert venue when the white Hyundai Kona they were in lost control, crashing into three parked cars under the I-95 overpass and bursting into flames. Authorities are investigating if a medical episode might have contributed to the crash. Though the driver did not survive, all four passengers managed to escape, with only one sustaining minor injuries. Fortunately, there was no damage to the I-95 highway itself. The driver was identified as a 31-year-old man, and the passengers were confirmed to be unharmed.
