Fatal crash in Eastern Montana claims life of Canadian woman
A tragic accident occurred late Thursday on Interstate 94, as reported by the Montana Highway Patrol. The incident took place in the eastbound lane near Hathaway, resulting in the death of a young woman from Regina, Saskatchewan, and injuring a woman from California City, Calif. The driver, a 22-year-old woman, lost control of her Kia Sportage which rolled over in the median after she attempted to steer it back onto the highway. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, lost her life in the crash, while her passenger was transported to Rosebud Health Center for treatment. The patrol suspects drug use as a contributing factor to the tragic accident.
