Fatal crash in Delaware County leaves two dead and five injured

A tragic three-vehicle crash on Wednesday night in Delaware County resulted in multiple injuries and fatalities. The collision occurred around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. Route 23 and State Route 750 in Orange Township. The crash involved a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Toyota Venza traveling southbound which collided head-on, causing the Dodge Ram to then strike a Honda Accord, leading to both vehicles catching fire. Sadly, two individuals in the Venza, Carol Waldman and Amanda Reidling, lost their lives, while others sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized. Emergency personnel responded to the scene swiftly, as captured by a witness in a nearby parking lot. The incident has prompted community members to express concerns about the safety of the road and the need for potential changes. Authorities are still investigating the crash with the support of several local agencies.
