Fatal crash in Daviess County under investigation
Authorities are investigating a fatal crash in Daviess County that occurred on Thursday afternoon. The incident involved a single vehicle accident on Jack Hinton Road, near the Highway 764 intersection. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered a Honda Civic that had veered off the road, sustaining significant damage. Initial findings suggest that the driver lost control of the car, crossed into oncoming traffic, and ultimately crashed. Tragically, the driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was ejected during the rollover and succumbed to their injuries at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Daviess County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Unit and the Coroner’s Office are collaborating in the investigation.
