Fatal crash in Dallas as driver hits pedestrian

Upon arrival, authorities discovered one man on the ground and another trapped inside a vehicle. The man on the ground was transported to a nearby hospital but sadly passed away shortly after. Firefighters had to extricate the driver from the car, who was pronounced dead at the scene. According to investigators, the driver of a Nissan Maxima was traveling west on East Ledbetter Drive, lost control, veered onto the sidewalk, and struck the pedestrian before hitting a light pole.
