Fatal crash in Copiah County claims passenger's life
A tragic incident occurred in Copiah County resulting in the death of a teenager. The Mississippi Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a collision on Interstate 55 near Hazlehurst, involving a tractor-trailer and a car. Regrettably, the collision claimed the life of 18-year-old Francesca Doss from Fayette, MS. The driver of the car, aged 20, was transported by air to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Fortunately, the driver of the tractor-trailer did not sustain any injuries.
