Fatal crash in Chesterfield
One individual has tragically lost their life following a solo vehicle collision in Chesterfield County on Sunday, July 20, as reported by Chesterfield County Police. The incident occurred on Ironbridge Road in the 4700 block at approximately 5:20 p.m. Police have revealed that the car had just one occupant at the time of the crash. An SUV was heading east on Ironbridge Road at what authorities have described as a "high rate of speed," when the driver lost control and collided with a tree. Regrettably, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene, and their identity is yet to be confirmed.
