Fatal crash in Butler County injures 2.

A fatal multi-vehicle collision occurred in Buffalo Township, Butler County over the weekend, resulting in one fatality and two individuals being hospitalized. Emergency responders were called to the scene near South Pike and Younkins Road following the crash, which took place just before 3 p.m. The Buffalo Township Police Department advised drivers to steer clear of Route 356 between Giant Eagle and Edgewood Drive, as well as Younkins Road near Route 356 due to road closures resulting from the accident. Reports indicate the crash involved a car and two SUVs, leading to the death of a female car passenger and severe injuries to the male driver. The injured driver was airlifted to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, while a female SUV driver was transported by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital. The conditions of those hospitalized are currently unknown, while the two occupants of the second SUV involved in the crash emerged uninjured.
