Fatal crash in Bamberg County results in one fatality
In Bamberg County, a fatal vehicle accident occurred on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the death of one individual. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the incident took place on US-78 near Denmark around 12:30 p.m. A 2022 Dodge Challenger was heading east when it first went off the left side of the road, then returned to the road briefly before veering off the right side and colliding with a tree. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, passed away at the crash site. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed at this time.
