Fatal crash in Adelanto claims lives of man and teenager
A serious accident in San Bernardino County resulted in the death of two individuals and left another injured on the Air Expressway, as confirmed by authorities over the weekend. The collision involving two vehicles was reported to the Victorville Police Station on Saturday evening. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a Gold Mercedes CLK320 and a silver Honda Accord severely damaged, with three individuals in need of assistance in the westbound lanes of the expressway. Sadly, the driver of the Honda and a passenger in the Mercedes sustained fatal injuries. The passenger was identified as Destiny Simon, an 18-year-old from San Bernardino, while the driver of the Mercedes, Jalen Kendall, was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment. The male driver of the Honda has not been named. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and officials ask anyone with information to contact authorities at the Victorville Police Station.
