Fatal Crash Hayes Avenue and Huntsman Avenue in Fresno County

Fresno, CA (May 22, 2025) — A deadly two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning at South Hayes Avenue and West Huntsman Avenue claimed at least one life near Raisin City in rural Fresno County, Two Sedans Crash at Intersection Near Raisin City The collision occurred around 5:11 a.m. on May 22nd at the Fresno County intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol. Emergency responders, including fire crews and officers from CHP’s Caruthers unit, arrived on the scene shortly after the crash. Two tow trucks were requested, and the road was temporarily closed for cleanup and investigation. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim or confirmed whether there were additional injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
