Fatal crash ejects two from rear of pickup truck
A tragic accident occurred on the South Circle Drive overpass at Hancock Avenue in Colorado Springs early on Saturday, July 5. According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), one person lost their life, and another suffered serious injuries after being ejected from the back of a pickup truck following a collision with another vehicle. The incident, which happened around 2:30 a.m., involved a pickup truck traveling southbound on Circle Drive with two passengers in the rear. An individual was arrested for DUI, and the CSPD is investigating the crash with the assistance of the Major Crash Team.
