Fatal Crash During Traffic Stop in NYSP
A tragic incident occurred on Friday afternoon on I-87 North in Schroon Lake, resulting in the death of one woman. The woman, identified as 43-year-old Anne Everton of Baltimore, Maryland, was a passenger in a 2015 Ford Transit that crashed into a New York State Police vehicle during a traffic stop. The driver of the Ford, 58-year-old Brian Danioski, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Glens Falls Hospital. The state trooper conducting the traffic stop also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized. The driver and passenger of the Mercedes that was pulled over were unharmed. The investigation is ongoing.
