Fatal crash during police chase in Southern California

An early morning high-speed police pursuit in Southern California resulted in the tragic deaths of a police officer and a woman. The Alhambra Police Department was chasing an SUV and during the pursuit, a collision occurred between the officer's patrol car and the suspect vehicle. One of the suspects, a female passenger, was ejected from the SUV and unfortunately died at the scene. Another passenger was hospitalized with severe injuries, while the driver sustained moderate injuries and is currently in custody for questioning. The officer who lost his life in the crash was identified as 28-year-old Alec Sanders.
