A person suspected of committing grand theft in Camarillo, Los Angeles, passed away after a high-speed car pursuit that culminated in a crash on Friday. According to reports, the pursuit originated in Ventura County and continued through the San Fernando Valley before leading to the crash in the San Gabriel Valley. The Honda SUV involved was traveling at speeds exceeding 100 mph and even reached 118 mph, as TMZ revealed. The incident occurred on the 210 Freeway in Pasadena, where the SUV collided with a large dump truck and spun around in traffic lanes. The Ventura County Sheriff's Department informed NBC Los Angeles that the driver was believed to have stolen from a Target store at the Camarillo Town Center Shopping Center earlier that morning. The vehicle sustained severe damage, with the side panel behind the driver's seat extending onto the roadway. Emergency medical services were observed at the location.
