Fatal crash closes busy Tampa road near I-4: TPD
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)— A crash between a vehicle and a bicycle kills one, and closes down a busy road near I-4, The Tampa Police Department announced. Police responded to 50th Street around 7 a.m. in regards to a crash involving a vehicle and bicycle. The person on the bicycle was pronounced dead at the scene, TPD said. The woman driving the car remained at the scene during the investigation. TPD said the southbound lanes of 50th Street from Melbourne Boulevard to I-4 are currently closed during the investigation.
