
Fatal Crash Claims Two Lives in Mercer County
Pennsylvania State Police and officials from the Mercer County Coroner's office are currently investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that took the lives of two individuals on Friday. The coroner confirmed that James Leathe, 21, and Urie Byler, 19, lost their lives in the accident on West Middlesex Road. The incident involved a vehicle driven at high speed by Leathe colliding with a Toyota pickup truck making a left turn. Byler was a passenger in Leathe's vehicle. Both men were declared deceased at the scene, while the occupants of the other vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Further details on their injuries have not been disclosed. The coroner's report stated that Leathe and Byler succumbed to severe injuries from the crash.
