Fatal crash claims life of teenager in Laurens County
Tragic news from Laurens County, S.C., as a teenager lost their life in a car crash in Gray Court on Wednesday. The Laurens County Coroner's Office confirmed the fatality, which occurred when a 2017 GMC pickup truck collided with a 2020 Hyundai sedan at an intersection between Greenpond and Simmons Road. The sedan driver, identified as 17-year-old Tyler Bishop from Gray Court, was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup truck driver was hospitalized. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Laurens County Coroner's Office are currently investigating the incident.
