Fatal crash claims life of Milton woman
A tragic car accident that occurred on Monday afternoon in Santa Rosa County resulted in the death of a Milton woman. The incident took place around 1 p.m. on Highway 4 near Three Notch Trail. The 54-year-old woman was heading east on Highway 4, west of Three Notch Road, when her vehicle veered off the road, flipped over, and collided with a power pole. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the car leaving the road. The driver was transferred to a hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
