Fatal crash claims life of Folsom woman
A tragic two-vehicle collision occurred in Folsom, Louisiana, resulting in the death of a woman, as reported by Louisiana State Police. The incident took place on October 27 on LA Highway 25 near Sweet Olive Lane in St. Tammany Parish. The crash involved a 2015 Ford E250 van traveling southbound and a 2013 Cadillac ATS driven by 39-year-old Rachel Bitter heading northbound. The van crossed into the northbound lane, colliding with Bitter's vehicle. Bitter sustained severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where she tragically passed away. The Ford driver suffered minor injuries and declined medical treatment at the scene. State Police are continuing their investigation into this tragic event.
