A teenager from Juniata High School tragically passed away in a car accident that occurred over the weekend, as reported by the Juniata County School District. The incident involved a 15-year-old from East Waterford who was driving a Toyota RAV4 on Route 35 South near Hopple Lane in Tuscarora Township when the crash took place. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the teenager was on a FaceTime call with a friend when the car veered off the road, collided with a tree, and caught fire. The teenager, whose identity has not been disclosed, was the only occupant in the vehicle and unfortunately did not survive.
