Fatal crash causes closure of Southbound I-95 in Mims.
The southbound lanes of I-95 are currently closed as the Florida Highway Patrol investigates a fatal crash near mile marker 230 in the Mims area. The crash, involving a Toyota Tundra, a Freightliner semi-truck, and a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, occurred at 8:46 a.m. All southbound traffic is being diverted at Exit 231 for Brevard County Road 5A. The driver of the Toyota Tundra was taken to Parrish Medical Center and sadly pronounced deceased. Please stay tuned for updates on this developing situation.
