Fatal crash caused by driver ignoring stop sign
A fatal crash occurred in Odessa on August 23 involving a red Dodge truck and a gray Jeep at the intersection of Dixie and Pool Road. The driver of the Dodge, identified as Marcus Gentry, disregarded a stop sign and was hit by the Jeep, leading to the Dodge rolling over. Marcus Gentry, 44, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The passengers involved have been informed, with one hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, there were no further injuries reported. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
