Fatal crash between two vehicles in Lawrence County
MARIONVILLE, Mo. — A two-vehicle crash occurred in Marionville on Thursday afternoon, leaving one person deceased. According to an Aurora and Marionville Police Department social media post, the crash occurred between a 2011 Dodge SUV and a 2019 Toyota SUV on U.S. Highway 60 at Highway 265 in Marionville. The driver of the Dodge SUV struck the Toyota SUV as they entered oncoming traffic, the post says. The police department says the driver of the Dodge was pronounced dead at the scene. A mother and her son were in the Toyota vehicle and were taken to urgent medical care with critical injuries. The next of kin of the Dodge vehicle has been notified.
