A tragic accident occurred at a gas station in Los Angeles overnight, resulting in the loss of two lives, as reported by officials. The collision involved two vehicles at the intersection of Normandie Avenue and Century Boulevard in the Westmont neighborhood around 12:05 a.m. Wednesday. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they discovered two individuals who had unfortunately passed away. It was not confirmed if the deceased were in the same vehicle. The victims, identified later as two women by CHP, remained unnamed at the time. Another person was injured and taken from the scene, details of their identity were not disclosed. Video footage from KTLA displayed the aftermath of the wreck, showing a gray Honda SUV near a gas pump and a silver Buick SUV in the street, both heavily damaged. Despite the cause of the crash remaining unknown, it was clarified by the CHP spokesperson that it was not a hit-and-run incident.
