Fatal crash at intersection in Merced County.
In Merced County, a fatal vehicle crash occurred when a 29-year-old driver of a Ford pickup truck collided with a 37-year-old driver of a Toyota at an intersection. Unfortunately, the driver of the Toyota was pinned in the vehicle and pronounced dead. The driver and passenger of the Ford truck were unharmed. The California Highway Patrol stated that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be involved, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
