Fatal crash at Boring restaurant leads to building collapse
A tragic incident occurred in Boring as a driver crashed into a restaurant, leading to the building collapsing and resulting in the driver's death. Clackamas Fire responded to the scene early Tuesday morning at Timber Pub & Grub along Highway 212. The vehicle impact caused the roof to collapse, trapping the driver inside. Emergency crews swiftly stabilized the structure and rescued the driver, who unfortunately passed away while being transported to a nearby hospital. The identity of the driver is yet to be disclosed. Fortunately, the lone individual inside the building at the time of the crash escaped unharmed. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
